This week, LA Action Potential will be volunteering at the Venice Family Clinic, an all-volunteer clinic in Venice, California!
Volunteers are needed with the following roles:
Medical assisting: Taking baseline vitals, SAMPLE history, etc.
Children's patient waiting area: Read stories to the children, collect toy donations and bring to children to play with, arts and crafts.
Main patient waiting area: Helping in the waiting areas with a postcard campaign to the State.
Medical records department: Clerical duties, forms administration. 6 volunteers desperately needed!
Shadowing opportunity: Spanish speakers can shadow doctors/nurse practitioners!

April 18 - 24 is National Volunteer Week!
LA Action Potential will be helping pass out food to the homeless with
H.O.P.E. in Santa Monica on
