Be inspired. Be of service.
Just bring yourself.

The mission of LA Action Potential is to engage pre-health students and volunteers interested in medicine in a personalized, action-oriented experience with individuals with health related needs in underserved communities, and to foster the next generation of leaders in the field.

About LA Action Potential

LA Action Potential helps underserved areas throughout Greater Los Angeles. The organization is founded on the principles of service through action and bringing back a sense of dignity, pride and respect to individuals with health care needs throughout the community.

Nuerons are specialized cells that allow us to move, think, and keep our hearts beating. Like the action potential that propagates through a neuron, our organization is aimed to bring forth positive action and change throughout communities through physical activities, health related education, and compassion to the less fortunate.

All learning takes place in the brain. When we perform an action, we create a kind of relationship between neurons.

When we take action through service in our community, we create a special relationship between people.

It is through our interconnectedness, our actions, compassionate hearts and helping hands that builds us up as a human beings and help us grow and thrive on this planet.
